This really got my attention the first time I saw it. This rustic classic door and window with a horse shoe above each is on a western old barn in a mining town, my guess from the late 1800′s. It’s located behind a friends saloon in the middle of the Colorado Rocky mountains about an hour south of the Buena Vista Colorado area.
It is believed if a horseshoe is hung over a doorway, with ends up will catch good luck and ends down will let the good luck spill over the door and stop evil from entering.
