This is a scenic landscape view from the agriculture plains of the front range up to the Colorado Rocky Mountains above Boulder Colorado and continental divide, pretty much sums up and a birds eye view of Boulder County. Pumpkin pumpkin close up and personal. Pumpkins are one of my favorite plants in the garden. They really complete the fall harvest. This year we put too many seeds in the garden and ended up with only a couple small ones. Tomatillo (toe-ma-tee-ohs) – Tomatillos are also called “tomate verde” in Mexico (which means green tomato) and are considered a staple in Mexican cooking. The tomatillo is a plant of the nightshade family, related to the cape gooseberry, bearing small, spherical and green or green-purple fruit of the same name. Tomatillos originated in Mexico, and are a staple of that country’s cuisine.
