The blue hour, Jackson Lake, Jackson Lake State Park, Morgan County, Colorado. The blue hour, one hour of time after sunset and before sunrise, a great time of day for photo taking. It is fun to keep in touch of sunrise/ sunsets and moon phase and rise and fall. This is during May No Moon. An early morning view of Longmont Colorado City lights looking east before the sunrise with a bright view of Planet Venus in the sky. The sky’s brightest planet is very prominent in the eastern predawn and dawn sky throughout April. Colorful sunrise sky, colors of blues and oranges with a single lonely tree on the plains of north east Boulder County Colorado. Looking up the South St Vrain Canyon and reaching for the stars. Colorado is such a great place to do a little stargazing. You don’t have to go far to see a view like this. This storm came in from the south, I was in North Boulder County and saw it hitting over boulder and the Flatirons. There were four award winning shots that I took with my eyes and mind but could not get a good location to get that shot in time. |
