Sunday the 10th of August was the day of the supermoon. It rose at 7:53 pm to a cloudy horizon so there was not a good rising view from Boulder County, or at least from where I was located in North Boulder County. This is the next morning, Monday 8-11-14 as it sets at 7:17 am behind the Colorado Rocky Mountains Indian Peaks.

Short Time Lapse of clouds and weather coming over the Colorado Rocky Mountains Continental Divide up at Brainard Lake, Boulder County, Colorado. R ight before sunset, not much color because of the weather. Tuesday June 24th, 2014 the storms keep rolling in every afternoon. This was a good one because it came in right after sunset. There were a ton of cloud to cloud and inter-cloud burst. Not my real favorite to shoot. This is a view of lightning bursting out of a thunderhead cloud above a country lake in Southwest Weld County, south of Meade and Berthoud Colorado.
