Colorado at it’s best video. A day in the life of a storm chaser. Sunset and rainbow. Tuesday June 24th, 2014 the storms keep rolling in every afternoon. This was a good one because it came in right after sunset. There were a ton of cloud to cloud and inter-cloud burst. Not my real favorite to shoot. This is a view of lightning bursting out of a thunderhead cloud above a country lake in Southwest Weld County, south of Meade and Berthoud Colorado. In your honor, a patriotic park bench decorated with red white and blue, flowers, USA American flags and a panorama scenic view out onto a fishing lake with Longs Peak towering in the background. A very special place and great place to sit and get in touch with mother nature, Longmont Colorado, Golden Ponds, Boulder County. The first stop on this storm chase as I am under a massive thunderstorm tidal wave. The sky was lighting up the sky pretty good with big inter-cloud burst.
