So here we are on the double yellow lines, with a little light painting to light them up. When that say isolated thunderstorms you can see how this one is “isolated”, with star trails above and around the thunderhead. Started this storm chase from the edge of north east Boulder County where I like to sit and watch things develop, then decide what direction to run to. As I saw it starting to hit I decided to hit one of my favorite spots on highway 36 between Boulder Colorado and Lyons. Beautiful colorful golden sunset with a giant old cottonwood tree silhouette out in the country in Boulder County, Colorado. A very colorful sunset with a large cottonwood tree silhouette. Life in the country with views like this every day. This is in north east Boulder County Colorado A fantastic colorful Colorado cloud to cloud lightning thunderstorm. Lightning image number 27, Tree Silhouette in the foreground with a large open colorful sky from the city lights and a small lightning bolt going cloud to cloud. Looking up the South St Vrain Canyon and reaching for the stars. Colorado is such a great place to do a little stargazing. You don’t have to go far to see a view like this. Colorado is such a great place for Stargazing, this is a view of Longs Peak in the distance and a sky filled with stars. A Stargazers dream! There are so many great place to watch the sky light up. This is one of my favorites views off of Peak to Peak Highway. |
