A great night of camping and chasing the Milky Way. This is during no moon June 27th, 2014. Gilpin County Colorado. This image was created with a long exposure and a little light painting. Tuesday June 24th, 2014 the storms keep rolling in every afternoon. This was a good one because it came in right after sunset. There were a ton of cloud to cloud and inter-cloud burst. Not my real favorite to shoot. This is a view of lightning bursting out of a thunderhead cloud above a country lake in Southwest Weld County, south of Meade and Berthoud Colorado. This is the last one from Jackson Lake State Park, Morgan County, Colorado. Rural lights, light up the clouds, as the Milky Way rises across the night sky, during no moon in May. This is my favorite out of the series. Beautiful night to reach upon the stars, astrophotography sky with the Milky Way and clouds over rural country agriculture Jackson Lake, in Jackson Lake State Park. Morgan County, Colorado.
